Bio

My name is Kayla Baez and I would love to be your postpartum doula. Some things about me are that in my free time I love to hang out with my loved ones, especially my dogs Yogi and Panini. My weekends are spent with my significant other taking the dogs to the park, the beach, or trying out new dog friendly spots here in San Diego. I was born and raised here in San Diego but spent a couple years in the Bay Area finishing my degree and Cal State East Bay. Career wise, I am fully trained through DONA International and have a BA in Early Childhood development. My goal as your doula is to make your transition into parenthood or a larger family as seamless as possible. Throughout my years as both an infant teacher and a nanny my favorite part was always connecting with little ones and their families. I’m so glad I can focus that passion through my work as a postpartum doula. My degree gives me particular insight into helping older siblings or young family members adjust to the new addition.
