I am absolutely thrilled you are researching the options you have available to help you and your family during this exciting time! You will remember the birth of your baby for the rest of your life and my desire is for you to find the perfect team to help empower and support you during this amazing journey.

I have been as a birth worker for the past 15 years in a variety of roles from DONA certified birth doula, postpartum doula, homebirth birth assistant and now licensed midwife and monitrice. I also have been encapsulating placentas for the past 8 years.

My experience as mom, momma, mommy to 5 kiddos ranging in age from 17yrs to 5yrs old and their very different births ignited the passion I have for caring for families. I am also thankful for the opportunities I have had as a military spouse for over 20yrs to gleam from amazing other birth professionals all over the world.

I have had the honor assisting clients in a variety of settings for hundreds of births. Each and every one of these births has taught me new things and been an absolute honor to witness. My specialty is in unmedicated birth. I am excited to be offering monitrice services for families who are not able to have an out of hospital birth, but still desire to experience the midwifery model of care during their pregnancy, birth and postpartum.

When I am not helping new families I home school our children and spend lots of time watching their swim meets, playing with corgi puppies, taking beach walks and sampling the amazing Mexican food Southern CA is so well known for.

I am a Licensed Midwife and holistic newborn care provider with over a decade of experience caring for Newborns, Mothers and their families in the first 6 weeks of life. I offer midwifery prenatal care and postpartum care visits in the comfort of your own home or my Oceanside office if you desire a hospital birth but would also like to utilize the midwifery model of care.

Placenta encapsulation became a passion of mine after I saw the benefits clients experienced and also benefited from these services firsthand. I love being able to help clients utilize their placenta to the fullest capacity.
